Join us on a calm relaxing walking experience spending a few hours slowly traversing the beautiful landscape. Slowing down and allowing yourself to be guided by Rhonda as she shares her extensive knowledge of the local area.
What to Expect
On Reconnect walks there is no rush, we take regular breaks to admire the view, sit by streams and maybe dip your feet into the cool refreshing water. A generous snack pack is provided for each person so you can concentrate on enjoying being immersed in nature.
Each reconnect walk is slightly different to make sure it meets the abilities and needs of the group. If you are concerned you won’t keep up then this is the walk for you.

What to Bring?
- Footwear: A sturdy pair of fully enclosed shoes is recommended. Some trails are uneven and rocky, fitted shoes provide a safer and more enjoyable experience.
- Clothing: The weather can be changeable so layering is best. Lightweight clothes can be added or easily removed and light to carry. In summer bring a hat and sunscreen, in winter a beanie and scarf are a good idea.
- Water bottle/bladder: is required to carry your own water.
- Day Pack: a small day pack or backpack is required to carry your water, food and coat
- Camera: to take photos if desired
What is in a Snack Pack?
Wellness Walking will provide a snack/lunch pack full of bite size fun and energy providing items for you to enjoy throughout the walk.
The contents of each pack will vary throughout the seasons. Common items included are: biscuits, lollies, muesli/nut bar, protein balls and other small treats.
Snack Packs are freshly prepared for each walk so can easily be tailored to individual dietary requirements.
Where Do We Walk?
The trail we choose for each reconnect walk will be a well defined trail with slight undulation but no major elevation change. The walk will be chosen based on the abilities of the group.
There will always be a view and a place to sit and think. We don’t always take the same trail, but there are some we keep revisiting because they’re so spectacular and they change depending on the season.
